Loss of an Experience

The objective of this assignment was to create a ready-to-wear collection with an inspiration of my choosing. I chose to reflect upon and be inspired by the current state of the ocean’s ecosystem, especially in regard to the endangerment of coral reefs. My goal with this collection was to bring more awareness to this issue as well as to spread factual information; while emphasizing the beauty of these reefs and our relationship with them. The fabrics I designed are all sustainable and eco-friendly. The colors come from the beauty of corals and what they look like as they perish.
